Anyone Having Trouble Getting Started?

The long weekend (or however long you had off) is over. For the adults, it's time to go back to work. Kids, you have to go to school again. But throughout the land echoes the cry (either voiced or silently), "I'm not ready."

It reminds me of the story of a male or female (it works either way) who doesn't want to go to school. The woman standing over the bed says, "You'll go for three reasons. Number one, you have an obligation. Number two, there are things there you need to do. And number three, you're the teacher."

Well, I'm not the teacher, and my profession no longer demands that I go to work, but nevertheless, I guess it's time for me to move. But I really don't want to. How about you?

Haha, that photograph.:-) Yeah, sure I want to move, but in cold, little bursts. (Winter is hard!)

Yeah, I feel that way, especially on colder mornings. But we persevere, don't we?

For some reason, I haven't been getting your posts, Richard! hmmm. I thought you'd taken a sabbatical. lol I guess I better sign up for it again. Oh, and I'm so glad to be back in a routine where Wednesday is Wednesday and not Sunday...

Patricia, I took a brief (all too brief) holiday vacation, with some reprise Christmas posts, then nothing during the holidays. Back to the Tuesday and Friday blogging routine now. Thanks for hanging in there.

Most definitely having difficulty motivating. I hate the cold, and even here in Southern Arizona, it's too cold for me this time of year. Throw in health issues we're trying to get under control, and blah. I'd love to just crawl into bed and alternate between reading and sleeping until spring. Alas....
