To Save Time And Effort...

... at next year's Super Bowl, why doesn't the Patriot team's offense scrimmage against the defense, and just let everyone else stay home?

Maybe it's me, but other than the NFL commercial (with all the players at a dinner party), I can't recall a single one of the commercials--and those are usually the best part of the festivities.

Oh, well. Pitchers and catchers report to camp in just a few days.

I'm with you, Richard. That's the only commercial I remember, mostly because the guy that starts the commercial played for Memphis State when it was Memphis State instead of the ridiculous University of Memphis.

Welcome back!

It was a dull game, indeed. Certainly not exciting like all it was hyped up to be. The best commercial was the one from Microsoft of the adaptive equipment for physically challenged children. Harrison Ford and the dog, and the dinner one you mentioned were both funny.

Thanks, Patricia and Anne, for your comments. By the time it was over, I figured the announcers were going to canonize Brady. Kept waiting for commercials worth remembering, but they never came.
