What do you think lies around the corner in the picture? Does the road run into a tunnel, one that's dark and winding with no glimmer of light at the end? Or does it open into a vista of a green valley below with snow-capped mountains in the distance? What's out there? We don't know. We can guess. We can conjecture. We can pontificate. But the only way to be certain what's around the bend is to travel the road.No matter what the pundits and pollsters may say, no one knows what lies around the bend for our country. The only way to acquire that knowledge is to travel the road, one mile at a time. And as I do it, I will ask God to uphold our nation's leaders--all of them--and give them wisdom and discernment. I hope you'll join me in praying to that end.

Well said. I'm hearing way too many comments about how only one way to vote is consistent with Christian principles. The time for all that is behind us, and the time has come to pray for our new body of leaders.

I agree with your thoughts concerning our leaders.
As for what's around the bend in the picture, I figure its probably a gas station. I grew up in the country and I don't know how many times I've gone around a bend that looks promising, only to discover that all that's back there is a couple of old trailers someone pieced together to make a house or something.
