Pausing To Mourn

Like the rest of the country, I watched with horror the story of the killing of thirty-two people at Virginia Tech. Today, my prayers go out to every family affected by this senseless tragedy.
"...My eyes pour out tears. Day and night, the tears never quit. My dear, dear people are battered and bruised, hopelessly and cruelly wounded." (Jeremiah 14:17b, The Message)

How often the "weeping prophet" has just the right words for the emotions we can't quite express.

Thanks for this, Richard.
