A number of authors of Christian fiction will be moderating sessions and offering comments at this website October 29-31. I hear rumors of books to be given away as well. I'll be talking tomorrow, Tuesday, October 29, between 9 and 10 AM Central time about characters, good and bad. What's the worst character (not badly written, just bad) you've ever encountered? The best? Which would be harder to write? I hope you'll drop by, "like" the group and join in the discussion.
(Disclaimer--I have no idea how all this is going to work, but then again, I have no idea why the light comes on when I flip the switch.)

I'm going to be traveling tomorrow and not online so I'll chime in now. I enjoyed Halloween as a child and as a mom. I made (non-scary) costumes and took the kids around the neighborhood or to church for their alternative event. Now, as a cranky old lady, I'm kind of over it. When kids knock at the door, the dog barks and I have to stop what I'm doing. We'll be out of town this year. Next year, maybe I'll go and do Halloween with my grandkids and make some fun memories.
Carrie, travel safely. I'm at the stage where Halloween is for the grandkids, who have not a clue about the real origin and meaning of the day.
